Meet Dr. Harrison
Dr. W.R. Harrison is a dentist in Grand Prairie, Texas. He is a native of Jacksonville, Texas. Received his dental training from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas and his undergraduate training in biology and chemistry from Stephen F. Austin State University. Initially, he followed his heart and worked in the U. S. Public Health Service as a member of the National Health Service Corps. Dr. Harrison holds these years as a new practitioner of dentistry to be invaluable. Here he honed his skills and formed his philosophy of practice which is based on caring for the dental patient as a complete person.
Dr. Harrison has practiced dentistry for over thirty years, during which time he has come to love the kind of practice which meets the needs of a wide variety of patients.
His favorite areas of dentistry include cosmetic dentistry and comprehensive restorative dentistry. He also enjoys great patient acceptance of his skills as a sedation-trained dentist and as a dental surgeon. Dr. Harrison constantly educates himself and remains active in organized dentistry in an effort to offer his patients a practice where they can receive “complete dental care”.
When he is not with his patients or the world of dentistry, Dr. Harrison enjoys sharing life with his wife, Pamela and their grown children Brent and Rebecca. Having come from a farming background, he still loves to work the family land in East Texas. Other hobbies include private aviation, sport fishing, and spending time in nature. These outdoor activities and family times seem to provide the balance needed to allow Dr. Harrison to give himself intently to each of his dental patients one individual at a time.
